    If you have Chrome: get Tampermonkey to use it! Greasemonkey for Firefox, and I'm unsure about other browsers.

    So 4 years ago (after I emigrated to a new country) I rediscovered Neopets thanks to Reddit and decided to give away a bunch of cookies I had rotting sitting on my account.

    Well I guess that was super suspicious activity from TNT's point of view (in hindsight I don't blame that at all) because very shortly after that giveaway I got frozen.

    I didn't really think I'd play again, but I didn't want my decades of Neo time to come to an anticlimactic end - being frozen under my own watch - so I tried to appeal. Then TNT hit me with "can you provide receipts for your NC purchase?" and it was just like ohhhh crap, I... don't have that. 4 years ago I gave away cookies that I hadn't used in even longer. I went through my credit card receipts and everything, but couldn't find anything. So eventually I gave up and moved on. This was in 2017.

    But then randomly last week I was digging through my emails for something else really old, and I came across... an NC receipt!!! from 2012!!!!!!!!!!!

    I just found out today that my account has been restored :)

    I'm excited to dip my toes back into this community again, even just for old times sake. Just in time for Advent Calendar too, it was always my fav time of the year!

    PS. Just logged back in, lol my user lookup is a mess and idk if I'll be ever bothered to fix it but omg I'm back!

    My lab rat Lunasiae turned into an Ice Moehog which I know Moehogs aren't very popular but wondered if anyone wanted to save her for a species change? If not I'll keep zapping ☺️

    Neopets: A Tale of Terrible Timing and Hitting Where it Hurts

    Just a quick kinda sad tale because Neopets hit me in my sad feels.

    The other day, we had to being our 16 year old dog to the vet to help her cross the rainbow bridge because she was incontinent and unable to walk.

    So to cope with losing my childhood friend, I decided to give one of my pets a petpet that same day with her name on it.

    Also during this time, my baby has her first fever and I am a worrywart and sleeping has been tough, so we woke up at about 4am (2am nst) and sleepily was doing my dailies. I get to the petpet ray and meant to click on my labrats petpet... but no. I accidentally clicked on my memorial petpet and it turned her into....

    A Pile of Soot.

    Which kinda hurt because we were unable to bury her and so she was cremated.

    And now I don't know if I want to remove the petpet when the date was important to me, or to risk zapping her further.

    Ever have days where neopets taunts you with luck?

    Today is one of those days for me 😭 It's like, you keep getting so close to some good luck and then you juuuust miss it. a bit of a win on food club , then you find out a ton of people got over a mil! a three way match on the fruit machine - but its one of the fruits that don't give you a pb (not complaining about the neopoints! but man i keep getting my hopes up for it lately) , a little water faerie trickery but worst of all i saw a dreamie in the pound and just missed it </3 my heeaaaart ! Sometimes this website loves to tease lmfao I swear. Have you guys ever had those days?

    Anyone else spend inordinate amounts of np on their pets' hotels because you can't stand to put them in *shivers* the cockroach motel?

    Like I don't put them in the 400 np premium option but I also spend extra on "amenities" and shit and tailor it to each one. Like most of my pets don't go to the sauna but do get the swimming pool and jacuzzi/spa, but my Magma Cybunny goes to the sauna because she isn't gonna be swimming.
