    By now everyone should have received their Secret Santa matches from Neobot for both the art exchange and the on-site gifts. If you signed up but have not received a match, please message u/xxnovey (Novey) or u/gloomier (Bumna) as soon as possible! Also!!! We had to resend out the art match, you should now have their Reddit Username, so please double check!

    Now that you have your match, you may feel free to start sending out your gifts! You have until 11:59 PM NST December 20th to send them - this goes for both the art exchange and on-site gifting! As a reminder for those doing the art exchange, please make sure to message Bumna or I your imgur link that you sent to your match so you may be included in the final album!

    IMPORTANT BACK UP SANTA DISCLAIMER BECAUSE Y'ALL ARE ASKING:
    We will take your name if you want to be a backup Santa, but it is not guaranteed that you will be needed! We're sorry that you missed the main signups, but we have a decent chunk of back ups only thus far! Thank you for your offer!

    REMINDERS:

    ​

    • Do not, under any circumstances, mention Reddit, Discord, or Secret Santa (or similar variations) on Neopets. By doing so, you risk your account being silenced, or worse, frozen!
    • A reminder to check your preferences on Neopets to ensure that you may receive gifts from non-neofriends and your notifications for receiving mail on Reddit.
    • After 48 hours, the gifts you sent will be returned to sender if they were not accepted. If your gifts were not accepted, please reach out to your giftee, or contact Bumna or I if they have they do not want their Santa to contact them.

    TROUBLESHOOTING:

    Thankfully, our last years hosts were kind enough to share some wisdom and provide helpful information for various kinds of questions! If you haven't read the FAQs on the first thread, we encourage you to start there!

    I don't have enough neopoints to get my giftee something that they want / My giftee wasn't very specific for what they wanted! What do I do?

    You are not obligated to spend millions of neopoints for this event! If you have the means to do so, then please feel free. We really encourage the thought of the gifts as opposed to their worth if you can not fulfill their wishes. If you are still perplexed as to what to send as a gift, feel free to chat with others either in the Secret Santa threads, or on the Discord server in the #holidays channel!

    The gifts I sent were returned back to me. What happens now?

    If your gifts were sent back after 48 hours, please try sending them again once more and contacting your giftee either on Reddit or on Neopets to let them know they have gifts waiting! If your giftee asked for their Santa not to contact them, please message either Bumna or Novey so we may reach out to them. Worse case scenario is that you will be rematched!

    Something happened in my life and I don't think I'll have time to send my gift to my match.

    If for any reason you can not send your gift out, please contact either Bumna or Novey so your giftee can be rematched. We understand that this is a very busy and chaotic time of year for people, and the sooner we know the better!

    My Santa gave me very poor quality gifts, or it seems like they didn't care for the things they got for me.

    Please keep in mind that not everyone has the neopoints available to grant all of your wishes. However, if the gifts that were sent do not pertain to anything that you've mentioned, or appear to have no thought put into them, please let us know so we can rearrange a rematch and contact your Santa.

    My giftee didn't add a wish list or put down anything that they might like as a gift, what do I do?

    If your giftee did not share a wish list, any Neopets interests, or things they might like then you'll either have to contact them (if they were okay with being contacted on Reddit or Discord) and ask them for that information. Otherwise you'll just have to do some sleuthing, or pick out some nice things. *Gifting idea: come up with a gift theme (faeries, petpets, colors, battledome, etc...) If they have pets, plushies of their pets is also cute. See if they have a gallery on site!

    Oh no! My Santa mentioned (one or all) Reddit, Discord, Secret Santa in a Neomail to me!

    If this happens, please do not reply to their neomail, and instead contact them on reddit, and let Bumna or Novey know as well. If you'd like to accept their gifts, you may, however - if you are uncomfortable doing so, just decline the gifts and contact us so you may be rematched!

    The deadline is almost over, or the deadline has passed and my Santa never gave me anything. What do I do?

    If you are in this situation, please contact us so we may try and get in touch with your Santa, and if that fails we will be sending out a rematch!

    My giftee's account doesn't exist!

    If your giftee has anything in italics, it means that they likely have underscores in their username. If nothing still shows up, please contact us so we can confirm their username and report back to you.

    If I could change Neopets in one way I would make it so that when I am buying a Mystery Capsule I would be able to get all of the items if I buy the same number of caps.

    I have four Lagoon Scarves from the Temple of 1,000 Tombs Mystery Capsules. All I wanted was the Closed Eyes. I know I am going to get some duplicates, but HOLY SHIT!

    Why do they make us gamble with our own money? I know it generates more for them, but I think it is a really bad way to engender customer loyalty when the customers feel as if they're being cheated and played for fools.

    I've been a premium member since it came out and I buy nc on a regular basis. I feel completely cheated when I can't get a full cycle of the items that are being offered before the duplicates start. I am happy to pay for duplicates if I want them.

    I still don't have the closed eyes.

    What would you change about Neo if you could?

    I went and bought one more - got the closed eyes contacts I wanted. But they cost me $12.50.

    New (Ish) on neopets and need a few tips

    So, I joined a few years ago when I was younger, and have come back only to realise I didn't do ANYTHING last time I played, my pets aren't levelled, I have no trophies or neopoints etc.. and in general wasn't very good at it lol. Any tips on how to do better, I want to get paint brushes eventually and join battle events but... atm Im lacking lol

    If you have Chrome: get Tampermonkey to use it! Greasemonkey for Firefox, and I'm unsure about other browsers.

    Suddenly can’t log in to my account

    Hi everyone. I've been playing neopets for about the last 10 years on my main account. I generally log in about two or three times a year, only for the main events such as the advent calendar and occasionally the Altador Cup.

    Anyway I tried to log in today and I was not able to despite not changing my password recently. I tried logging into my alt account (which I haven't logged into in years) and I wasn't able to sign into that account either. I no longer have access to the email associated with my neopets account so I'm not sure what to do.

    Any advice?
