    Hello! Welcome to the Weekly Customization Thread (a.k.a Trendy Thursdays), this is where you can request help to customize one of your pets, and anyone who wants to help can reply to them.

    Also, if you have any general question about NC, or what petpet goes with your pet, etc, feel free to ask here too!

    Rules:

    To ask for help on a customization, you need to provide the following information:

    • Species.

    • Colour.

    • Gender.

    • Name of the pet. (Not necessary, but it might help get a better understanding of a theme)

    • Theme, if you have any.

    • Limitations on wearables, if you can only use NP, or you can also use some NC.

    • If you are able to cross-paint your pet.

    format is not necessary to copy, also if you have a half-finished custom you don't have to provide the info :)

    To help make customizations, please try to follow these simple guidelines:

    • Include a link to the customization. (Using DTI or JN's Wardrobe)

    • Try to include a brief summary of why you customized like that. (Not necessary but it can help!)

    • If you use expensive NC items, make sure to find other items to replace them (if the user can't afford them).

    • You can reply to anyone who needs help, you can't take dibs on one user.

    • You can also reply to other customizations offered to do constructive criticism or offer modifications. (Remember to be nice.)

    • If the customization you reply with is not yours, please give credit to the creator.

    I was frozen years ago for trading for a pet from a stolen account that I was completely unaware of... I'm still not over it.

    Hi. I just found this subreddit and I decided I'd vent here because this is something that occasionally crosses my mind and honestly heats me to the core. My old account that I spent years on and money (for NC) on was frozen. This happened probably 5 years ago but I had put years of time onto this account. So, the story. I was pound surfing one day when I randomly stumbled across a real named pet. I was frantic and I got lucky enough to actually have been able to snag him. (This name is extremely common, Jack for example) anywho, I didn't have any inspiration for him so I decided to put him up for trade. I got an offer of a UC Plush Zafara which at the time was one of my dream pets. I thought this offer was a little too good to be true. But considering that the name of my pet was so common I thought it was a great deal. So we traded and I was so ecstatic, I went and bought a ton of NC items to customize her. I spent hours on her petpage coming up with art and a custom HTML layout.. I really thought I finally made it by getting one of my dream pets. Well, fast forward to not even a few days later, I go to sign in and my account had been frozen for "suspicious activity" I sent TNT multiple multiple forms, emails, etc trying to prove that I was not the one who had hacked the original account. I signed into my side account even and messaged the person who the pet was returned to, who I'm assuming was the original owner. They felt awful for me and they said they'd send an email for me as well. Anyway, long story short I was completely ignored by TNT. I tried sending them unban forms for months, even years. I never got a single response. Sorry for this long rant post. I just wanted to get this off my chest because it still has me heated. I quit Neopets after this happened because. I would get on my side account occasionally, but after that I had completely lost my passion.

    If you have Chrome: get Tampermonkey to use it! Greasemonkey for Firefox, and I'm unsure about other browsers.

    You'll see a button under your current bets table, click that and copy/paste here.

    Favorite plushie neopet?

    Anyone have a favorite plushie neopet or one that looks really great with a certain customization? I've been playing for about 17 years but just recently came back. My dreamie was always a plushie zafara but the conversion ruined that for me; the new design is just not great. Anyways, I still really want a plushie neopet but I'm not sure which ones are best for customization. Any ideas? Thanks

    I forgot to mention I already have a draik and cybunny so I'm trying to avoid those two species, even though I love both.

    Thinking of playing a bit for nostalgia and fun again, even though my favorite part of the game (Keyquest) is gone, how is the economy and avatar community these days?

    If I joined again I would probably just want to build wealth (I'm a finance student so go figure lol) & collect avatars but don't want to join if the economy is pretty inflated / if it's difficult to get started up again

    Customization Glitch?

    Hi. Sorry if this has been discussed, I looked and couldn't find anything. I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this or knows what happened?

    I zapped my lab pet today from a Swamp Gas Kyrii to a Green Yurble, and the Kyrii-specific wearables that he was wearing have disappeared. They are not in my inventory, closet, or SDB, and my pet isn't wearing them.

    Do wearables just disappear if the pet changes into a species that can't wear them?

    I'm not toooo concerned about getting them back if they're gone for real, but dang lol.
