    If you have Chrome: get Tampermonkey to use it! Greasemonkey for Firefox, and I'm unsure about other browsers.

    The healing springs *can* CURE your pets as well as heal them for free. It also can give random healing potions. It can be used every 30 minutes. It also sometimes feeds your pet.

    This is to help people who have their pet get a rare disease that might cost a bit to cure. Remember you do not get to choose what happens at the healing springs and it can take a while to get the cure result, but considering it is free and can be used often it is very useful!

    I know this hasn't taken any skill at all to obtain besides patience, but being able to bet 10k at food club feels like a pretty great milestone. Thanks food club for the 20 million in profit you've earned me so far, here's looking forward to many millions more!

    The Neocola Machine Transmogrification Project

    The objective of this post is to scout whether people in the sub would be interested in joining a group effort to finally crack the Neocola Machine drop rates for Transmogrification Potions.

    Even though we have quite a few mass playings on the Neocola Machine registered, they are scattered and not uniform in method, and we do not have an objectively organized database available for analysis, even on bigger sites like jellyneo. Even the few brave neopians that tried themselves larger amounts of tokens (highest I've found ranging about 18k tokens used), didn't have enough Transmogrification Potion drops to clearly point to certain machine commands to amplify its drop rates.

    Therefore, I'd like to know if there are people in this sub who would be interested in such a project to compose a Neocola Machine Project, and finish this mystery once and for all.

    There will probably be need for volunteeers for the following roles:

    -Reviewers: people whose objective is to search and review other user's data and see if we can somehow reuse their findings to enhance the data pool

    -Analysts: people whose objective is to use their magic math brains to run statistical calculations and clarify the drop rates for itens, token colors and commands

    -Patrons: people whose kind donations of tokens or np help run the project

    -Testers: people whose objective is to try not to give themselves carpal tunnel syndrome while testing combinations

    -Pathfinders: people who help draw the methods of testing, e.g. how many combinations are necessary, how many dropped potions are needed for significant analysis, should we put the Neopets time clock into account, etc

    -Organizers: people who help people from different roles communicate and also advertise the project in order to gather more awareness from the sub and therefore finish the project quicker.

    If you have your own personal data on the Neocola Machine, please reply as well if you're willing to share your findings.

    If you'd be interested, please reply above with the role you'd like to play. We'd also probably need people to compose an ethical board of some sort, because I have no idea of what should be done with the neopoints and items that derive from the investigation neither if such a project could be against neopets' rules.

    (This is just a quick mental sketch of what such a project would entail. I have a scientific background from my profession but I do not know enough statistics to run it myself, neither do I have the time to organize it myself. But since even bigger guide sites like jellyneo or sunnyneo do not have this complete info, I think we are more than enough to fill in this knowledge, scientific method style)

    I recently got back into Neopets during the pandemic (14 year old account). I've been playing it in the evenings lately, and I remembered a few years back they allowed you to create an extra pet, increasing the limit from four to five.

    I wasn't aware they'd six increased the limit to six, and I was kinda drunk and went to Adopt-a-Grundo, typed in a stupid pet name, and expected it to tell me I could only create five pets.

    Nope, I'd accidentally just successfully created a fucking purple grundo, called LargeHole.

    It dawned on me the next time I logged in that that could be seen as inappropriate, so I figured I'd pound the pet as soon as I could.

    So, as soon as I could, I went to the adoption pound, and pounded this stupid grundo.

    I was once again a little drunk, and I figured I could spare anyone else the embarrassment of picking up a purple grundo called fucking LargeHole, by reporting the pet's name as inappropriate.

    I've since checked, and the grundo has now been deleted from the site (I gather TNT do this before reviewing inappropriate pet names), and so I gather they've either confirmed the name is inappropriate, or it's still pending.

    I'm just wondering, have I shot myself in the foot by reporting my own ex-pet's name? Do they keep records of who created every pet that goes into the pound, and then freeze the account of the creator if the pet name is found to be inappropriate?

    I just wanna know if I'm at risk of being frozen over this, bc I'm a little attached to this account, and regret ever creating a fucking grundo called LargeHole.
