    /u/diceroll123 speaking! I've made a simple userscript to turn your current bets into a formatted reddit table!

    If you have Chrome: get Tampermonkey to use it! Greasemonkey for Firefox, and I'm unsure about other browsers.

    What item that you thought was exclusive to neopets turned out to be an actual thing in “the real world”? For me it was shrimp cupcakes. I just came across a recipe online really randomly

    I opened four of the new loot boxes. This costs $4.67USD (5.97CAD) through shoppy. It costs $10USD (12.78CAD) through the neopets site. Do they think this is appropriate pricing when buying through the official site? IMO, paying 3.20CAD ea for these items is not at all worth. Thoughts?

    I just noticed that this change have the potential to Completely kill the cards here in Brazil...

    Nowadays, its incredibly hard to get hands in this cards.... There is only one big store around that list it in their site and they are almost always out os stock. Other than that there´s a marketplace where we can buy it from small stores. Just searched it - only 1 store still have those.

    If we stop buying, the resellers definitely wont bother to... sell those anymore, since nobody is specialized in neopets, so no more cards in the market...

    I personally think its pretty weird the logic behind the prices change... I know, Neopets is going through stuff... But if they need more money,wouldnt it be smarter to make the cards give us MORE neocredits? It would be more worth it to everyone,people would buy more and it would help them

    Tecnically they wouldnt be losing money... Its literally virtual currency they own...

    I managed to get into my 11-year-old account recently and have been cruising on a nostalgia high for the last 24 hours. Neopets was super meaningful to me in late elementary and middle school, and I feel like at the time that was the primary demographic on the site. Now, I still love Neopets so much and always will, but visiting the site as an adult, I feel like it's a convoluted, disorganized, antiquated mess of a site, running on a 15-20 year old UI. So many files that won't load. So much broken flash content. It makes me a little sad. I guess what I was wondering is, with so many different gaming communities and petsims available today, are little kids actually getting into Neopets, or is it mostly supported by nostalgic young adults like me? Honestly, I'm not sure that if I was 7 years old now, I would want to play Neopets over something like Animal Jam and the like. I never see it advertised anywhere, on gaming sites or real-life places that kids would hang out in, like toy stores or places like GameStop. It used to be that you could buy Neopets merch at Toys-R-Us (RIP), but now I wonder if Neopets is making much effort to reach out to young kids at all, or if the site is mostly kept alive by a contingent of aging, loyal players.
