    Hello! Welcome to the Weekly Customization Thread (a.k.a Trendy Thursdays), this is where you can request help to customize one of your pets, and anyone who wants to help can reply to them.

    Also, if you have any general question about NC, or what petpet goes with your pet, etc, feel free to ask here too!

    Rules:

    To ask for help on a customization, you need to provide the following information:

    • Species.

    • Colour.

    • Gender.

    • Name of the pet. (Not necessary, but it might help get a better understanding of a theme)

    • Theme, if you have any.

    • Limitations on wearables, if you can only use NP, or you can also use some NC.

    • If you are able to cross-paint your pet.

    format is not necessary to copy, also if you have a half-finished custom you don't have to provide the info :)

    To help make customizations, please try to follow these simple guidelines:

    • Include a link to the customization. (Using DTI or JN's Wardrobe)

    • Try to include a brief summary of why you customized like that. (Not necessary but it can help!)

    • If you use expensive NC items, make sure to find other items to replace them (if the user can't afford them).

    • You can reply to anyone who needs help, you can't take dibs on one user.

    • You can also reply to other customizations offered to do constructive criticism or offer modifications. (Remember to be nice.)

    • If the customization you reply with is not yours, please give credit to the creator.

    Another Petpet Giveaway!

    Hi everyone, happy 2020!

    I have 40 spare petpets ready for the first giveaway of the new year. Rules are the same:

    • First come first serve. Once I'm out of spare petpets, I'm out. Typically it takes a day for me to get enough requests to clear me out but I'll make sure to post an edit when the last Petpet has been claimed.

    • Petpets are random! You may get a double of something you already have or something entirely new. I randomly choose who gets what so please no requests or complaints (it's free after all).

    • Make sure your inventory is cleared out! I've had a lot of people over the past several giveaways not receive their Petpet because they were carrying over 50 items. If this happens I'll let you know but if you don't get back to me before I run out of Petpets then you won't receive one this go around.

    • Add me as a friend! To claim a Petpet add me on Neopets (r4tbelly) and send me a message saying hi, that's it. If you've already added me from a past giveaway just send me a new message and I'll send you another.

    Forgotten shore map

    I have several sets, and I'm trying to send them out to people that don't have a complete one yet. I buy pieces cheap as I can and each map ends up costing in the neighborhood of 270-300 np depending on what kind of deal I get at a given time. I see people in the trading post selling for 1-5k and it rankles me because they're making a profit off people who don't know better. So if you need one, drop your username and I will set you up a trade! I also do small battledome starter packs for newbies. This is a work in progress and something that costs a bit more.

    Naturally, contributions are welcome if anyone wants to help with this but I will continue without them. My username is ccobb09

    If you have Chrome: get Tampermonkey to use it! Greasemonkey for Firefox, and I'm unsure about other browsers.

    Question : How long has "Trudy's Surprise" been around?

    I started playing Neopets when it first came out. Like everyone else, I was obsessed everyday with trying to get NPs. I'd play all the games, take risks and gamble, lotto, scratch offs, stock market, keep my shop on point etc. Anywho, I played consistently for probably 3 to 4 years before I ended up just checking in every couple months. 2 years ago I started playing consistently again and saw the Trudys Surprise at the top. Being able to win that many NPs over the course of a couple weeks BLEW MY MIND. Has Trudys Surprise ALWAYS been around, and I just never noticed?

    I've been sick with the flu and looking through petpets trying to decide which ones would be perfect for my pets.

    The main one I'm trying to decide for is Silvvr who will eventually look more like this he's a prince space pirate haha. His RG equivalent is more of a traditional fairytale princess and she has a mortog. I'm looking at robot petpets but I'm open to any ideas that work into the theme, I love when people think of creative reasons for a petpet.

    I have also had a lot of trouble thinking of the right petpet for my Pea Chia, MrPeafect. He's an adventurous pea so I'm thinking maybe something he can ride on like a Turtum, what would you give your pea chia?

    I also recently got an invisible Gelert named Bloozer. The idea with him is that he is the plushie so right now he has a dogglefox that I want to make a faerie dogglefox but the faerie petpet paint brush is really expensive. I picked a dog because dogs play with and chew up plushies. I'm open to any other ideas and thoughts.
