    Update : YOU GUYS ARE AMAZING! I am well stocked to keep offering these item packs, and to be honest the donations coming in have far exceeded the point of anything coming out of my pocket. Between item and np donations, there should be no trouble keeping this rolling. I feel bad having to ask, but if you bid on a donation dropoff I may need you to rebid if you see fit. Life outside the internet takes priority and I am getting multiple bids on single lots when i am offline. I'll get it resolved over the next couple of days.     A few of you have seen my other posts/comments on this subject but I wanted to summarize. I am currently trying to create a giveaway for new and freshly returning Neopets players. I named it KNW, or Keep Neopets Wholesome. I am a returning player after a long hiatus, and I have been around off and on since Neopets first launched. At it's peak, Neopets boasted some 25 million users. That number has shrunk to a comparatively paltry 100k or so.

    When I logged back into my account and got rolling, I saw people selling forgotten shore maps for 1-5k. I've since been told that they've been known to go even higher, up to 35k. This is obscene for a map that can be assembled for 300 or less. So I started buying up map pieces and offering the completed maps for free on the trading post. The only people who would pay that much for a map are our new players. I personally want to see Neopets thrive and scamming newbies isn't going to help that happen. I tagged these maps with the phrase Keep Neopets Wholesome, just a tad out of spite for the people hawking maps at inflated prices.

    With a little personal investment and some OUTSTANDING contributions, I am now also offering a starter battledome pack for new players. Right now I also give them to returning players, as there are many coming back in after years of hiatus. These packs are enough to get a little start on battledome fighting, or a tidy sum after selling to go towards whatever our new Neopians are working towards. Achieving goals is what makes the game!

    The item packs are currently as follows 1 one dubloon coin 1 tan codestone, random 2 weak bottled faeries, random 1 healing potion, random V or up 1 scroll of ultranova 1 parasol of unfortunate demise 1 bronze scorchstone 1 flask of liquid fire

    What I need the most is help with outreach. Right now I post in the newbie neoboard with this offer, I have it in my shop and profile descriptions, and I reach out to those that bid on the forgotten shore maps. Any other suggestions are welcome and helpful. I'm getting very well prepared to send these item packs out, but I need to find the folks to send them to!

    If you'd like to make a donation to this program, my username is ccobb09 and I keep a couple of junk trades open to accept donations. Right now I am very well stocked on everything except the scorchstones, because they are the priciest item. I don't mind a bit to pay for them as needed and I have a dozen or so in my SDB but if anyone has spares or can do a SSW search from time to time to help me get the best price, I would be very grateful.

    Good morning, everyone!

    I'm an avatar collector and would like to start working on the NT star/writer avatars. I don't know anything about being published in the NT, so I have a couple of questions for y'all experienced writers. If you might be able to answer them, it would be a great help!

    1. How regularly are new issues coming out? I've heard chatter that the NT isn't being published as regularly anymore, but I have no idea what its current schedule is. When and how often do new issues come out?
    2. Is it super difficult to get published? I have this idea in my mind that it is, which is why I haven't even thought about trying for NT star until now, but I would love to get the Avatar - Collector avatar and, besides the two NT avs, only have expensive stamp avatars and impossible randoms left to get :(
    3. What would be the most efficient way to get to 10 issues?
    4. When would I need to start submitting content to have a shot at being published in Issue 900?
    5. How do you find inspiration for your content? I've tried so many times to start writing something, but I struggle to come up with ideas. How do you seasoned writers approach writing articles/stories for the NT?

    Nostalgic iconic shields. Which one if your favorite?

    Just turned 14 on neopets! Time for a new shield!

    I just remember looking up to older accounts as a child, I joined in 2006 and around that time the website had a boom in new accounts with a smaller established community, so there were many accounts who had obtained a 6 or 7 year shield and for some reason it was a huge goal of mine.

    I think I made it 44 months before I stopped playing Neopets. Now I'm back as of August. I really like this one.

    Has anyone recently gotten this from Trudy's surprise? What price did you sell it for? I tried looking one up on SSW because I found it in my SDB, but there aren't any. On TP I've seen them listed from 2 mil - 7 mil?? When did it inflate to that much lmao.
