    If you have Chrome: get Tampermonkey to use it! Greasemonkey for Firefox, and I'm unsure about other browsers.

    [meta] Can we please ban the use of the phrase "reddit luck"?

    Here are some reasons why:

    1. It's lazy--it doesn't add anything to the post or discussion. Looking through the front page, I see several iterations of it, and posts are beginning to sound the same.
    2. No, it's not "real". No, you don't get more lucky because you use both reddit and neopets. This should be obvious.
    3. If you want to celebrate something good that happened to you on neopets, just share it. You don't need to justify posting it on reddit by saying "reddit luck".
    4. I know several of us are Premium members, hence why some of us are more "lucky" than others. No, it's not because we also use reddit. We pay extra each month.

    Here are some outcomes I see of the phrase being banned:

    1. Titles become more descriptive and interesting.
    2. People can just share things they are excited about--I'm happy if you're happy you got a good random event. You don't need to chalk it up to imaginary "reddit luck".
    3. People are more inclined to engage. Right now, when I see a post about "reddit luck" I don't feel the need to comment. Compare these two titles: "I got a good zap thanks to reddit luck!" vs "My pet finally got zapped Alien! I'm so excited I've wanted an Alien Aisha forever!" Now which one would you feel more likely to comment on?

    Thanks for reading. I'm really not trying to rain on anyone's parade, but this has been an issue within this subreddit for a while. I'd like to know what other people think, so please share your thoughts. Is banning the phrase entirely too extreme? Should it just be banned from titles? Are you like me and also hate the phrase with a burning passion and want it completely gone?

    EDIT: Some suggestions people have given to remedy the situation:

    1. Reddit luck flair--that way the people who enjoy it can still enjoy it, and those of us who don't can filter it.
    2. Megathread--some issues here. This sub is pretty slow, and I'm not sure a megathread would give people the recognition they would like when they're celebrating something nice that happened to them on neo.
    3. Separate discussion board, such as with FFQ

    So I am struggling to activate a new side account. I have tried resending the activation. Multiple times. I have checked my junk. Obsessively. Nothing. I have triple, quadruple, quinsomething checked that the email address is correct. Literally sounding it out letter by letter. It's right.

    So I emailed support. I got a ticket number. I waited. And waited. And waited. And obsessively checked my junk box. And waited.

    Cue a month later. I finally decide that I'm not getting a response. So I email again. And get a ticket number. And wait. And wait.

    I only wait 72 hours this time before messaging them on Facebook - referencing my ticket number I might add. I'm bored now and all I want to do is transfer my basic Gelert to my side account.

    I get a response - admittedly within four NST working hours - asking me to email their support team.

    I mean... I even gave you the ticket number boys!

    Aand another pet idea added to my list of: "If TNT gives our sides a 7th pet slot" but perhaps I shouldn't give this TV character too much love :P (he doesn't deserve that xD) Kudos if you guess him by the way, I quickly chose the clothing, doesn't quite look the same.
