    If you have Chrome: get Tampermonkey to use it! Greasemonkey for Firefox, and I'm unsure about other browsers.

    As a longtime PC gamer surrounded by developers I want to address/air out my complaints & suggestions about the current state of NeoPets.

    Im under the impression TNT is having major internal problems. Neopets potential is HUGE, we already saw it with Viacom in its hayday. It seems like Neopets is in the wrong hands and they may be suffering higher up on the ladder from out of touch execs. They need someone from the gaming world to start laying down some ideas badly.

    • TNT is stuck in 2004 and believes they can force their demographic to be young children. They collect enough information to know that's not the case but continue to act as such. They refuse to broaden their target demographic facing their own statistics and STILL choose to severely limit functionality, including neoboard filters. If under 18 is what you guys specialize in, get in touch with somebody from Epic Games (Fortnite), Roblox Corp, Mojang, Telltale, Xbox Games, etc. If anything contact ME because I can probably get you through to someone.

    • They lack community management and transparency. TNT outright deletes neoboard threads that are complaining about the state of the game. This is a total communications failure.

    • Give us Patch Notes. Hire community managers that enjoy the game and also want to modernize appropriately - let us know whats being worked on right now, and give us an idea what you want our perspective on with specifics. Tell us what is failing --- it doesnt have to be everything, but if parts of the site that are outdated and obsolete are at a dead end, fill us in on options or something. We can work together recycling, revamping, or deleting it.

    • NC Mall is a disaster. They destroyed their own in-game economy (neopoints and in-game items) by providing Fortune Cookies at the cost of a measly $1 USD to manipulate what holds player retention the most - chasing dreamies and pet customization. By making the Lab Ray and Faerie Quests so easily obtainable - FOR ONE DOLLAR - theyve destroyed the aspect of a "chase" and indirectly destroy the power of their in-game currency (NP).

    • NC Mall should be changed into a generalized E-Shop. Piggybacking on my last point - TNT has a tendency to stretch their economy so thin that costs in game barely matter anymore. Allow people to trade high end double digit millions to try Premium. Funnel out excess NP from the economy while offering new features.

    • Unconverted (UC) pet economy is the main reason hacking is so prevalent. Turn current UC into 'First Edition' pets with a mark like Pokemon cards. Offer a temporary program at launch of 'new' Neopets to allow old users to come back and convert ONE pet to unconverted for double/triple digit millions of NP. These pets will NOT have a First Edition mark, are limited to 1 pet per account, and you cannot have more than one 'new' UC per account. People will 1) come back 2) get something they want AND THEN 3) gets excess in-game currency out of the economy 4) reduces risk of hacking/scams.

    • NC Mall should have exclusive capsule SETS that cannot have pieces purchased individually. Price them like Fortnite skins. Have an avatar out once in awhile to go with the exclusive mall sets...its safe because it doesnt turn Neopets into pay-to-win.

    • Making Draiks and Krawks easy to obtain was TNT's greatest long term failure. In addition to doing so, they chose not to follow their tracks by introducing MORE rare, hard pets to get. Have a program similar to Charity Corner, but raffle a VERY rare pet at random. Have avatars with this for participating, for winning, and for owning one of these new pets painted a certain color or something.

    • Waiting until 2018-2020 to convert their IT is absolutely mindblowing. Did they think they didnt need it? Did they not want to put any money there until they were absolutely forced to do so? They literally collect our emails, passwords, birthday, location, pin, etc and keep them in plaintext while accepting real life currency/accepting credit cards. Embarrassing.

    WHEW anyway...............theres so much more but what this tells me is the problems are coming from higher up. Not the people policing the boards, who probably arent getting paid enough in the first place. Theyre just doing what theyre told.

    Theyve decimated their own incentive with a HORRIBLY designed e-shop. Mobile looks awful, and is being reduced to a clunky, barebones Tamagotchi with a UI clearly built for 7 year olds that.........simply dont exist.

    That Viacom marketing and strategy $$ isnt there anymore to push ads and merch to kids by television in 2010. In fact, the internet and gaming world has VASTLY evolved since 2010.

    Neopets feels like its being run by Womens Day magazine editors or Lifetime or something.

    And if anyone reading this works for TNT - HIRE ME. Anyways, thanks for listening.

    I've posted on the neo boards and while the people have been helpful, they all seem aggravated by me so here I am to annoy all of you with my complaints about flash becoming obsolete.

    I DO NOT like this mobile shit. I know its only beta so more changes will come...but.... It doesn't work on my phone at all. I get that certain features will never be there. Certain games, wheels, etc. I don't have the luxury of having an ipad or tablet to use because honestly doing all of the stuff on the mobile site is just a pain on my phone (and pc). I prefer PC over stuff like that. I mean have any of you ever played osrs on their phone app? Yeah not much to do efficiently on there heh. I make most of my NP with games and dailies/wheels. I'm not very good at making NP which is totally on me, but if those things go away entirely I probably wont play anymore which is SAD. I've been with Neo since 2003. I even at one point had my mother playing with me, I drew pics of neopets for family members, I've always LOVED it, even when the site changed in '07 I was still online every day.

    I know flash is going away. No stopping that, but HTML5 works on pc? Like cant they just find another service to replace flash? I don't believe there isn't a way to make the site, as is, functional once flash is gone without it being a mobile site. I know the new world is all on phones. I'm on mine more than I'd like as it is. But damn I'm not happy about this. I feel like the only one truly frustrated by this. Mobile is ugly too which makes me more upset honestly.

    Anyway thanks for putting up with me because no one else in my life actually does cause I'm a loner :D
