    Hello! Welcome to the Weekly Customization Thread (a.k.a Trendy Thursdays), this is where you can request help to customize one of your pets, and anyone who wants to help can reply to them.

    Also, if you have any general question about NC, or what petpet goes with your pet, etc, feel free to ask here too!

    Rules:

    To ask for help on a customization, you need to provide the following information:

    • Species.

    • Colour.

    • Gender.

    • Name of the pet. (Not necessary, but it might help get a better understanding of a theme)

    • Theme, if you have any.

    • Limitations on wearables, if you can only use NP, or you can also use some NC.

    • If you are able to cross-paint your pet.

    format is not necessary to copy, also if you have a half-finished custom you don't have to provide the info :)

    To help make customizations, please try to follow these simple guidelines:

    • Include a link to the customization. (Using DTI or JN's Wardrobe)

    • Try to include a brief summary of why you customized like that. (Not necessary but it can help!)

    • If you use expensive NC items, make sure to find other items to replace them (if the user can't afford them).

    • You can reply to anyone who needs help, you can't take dibs on one user.

    • You can also reply to other customizations offered to do constructive criticism or offer modifications. (Remember to be nice.)

    • If the customization you reply with is not yours, please give credit to the creator.

    TNT got back to me, and account was unlocked after over a decade. So amazing. Looks like I am sitting on ~80M neopoints, and have items like Draik Transformation Potion, Portable Kiln, Pirate Captains Cutlass, Glittery Faerie Dust, Ghostkerbomb, Ghostkershield, Faerie Tabard, Rainbow Scorchstone, Freezing Potion, etc.

    Is the battledome still active? Would it be possible to get set up with a pretty good battle set for all of this these days?

    Rare Zapped PetPet- worth anything?

    Hi everyone! I used to actively play when I was a kid between 2003-2007, made an account to play games in 2015, then recently re-discovered neopets during COVID :)

    I'm not a big petpet person... just not my personal thing. I adopted a striped cybunny from the pound not too long ago and noticed that he had a snow yooyu as a petpet. Well, I was shocked when I looked up the value of this petpet on jellyneo and it's worth 3.5 MILLION NP?? Is this accurate?? I have a goal to have 6 baby pets, and 3.5m could buy.... a lot of baby pbs haha.

    I'd love to sell it, but it's a "zapped" petpet so I think it'll revert back to its original state if remove it from my pet. Is anyone interested in this/has some guidance of what I can do? I feel bad having a rare item and not being able to appreciate it fully. I can do trades too if that's a thing? Like I said, I'm still pretty inexperienced with stuff like this since I mostly used neo to play games and never even had a painted pet as a kid.

    EDIT- Looks like the original form of the petpet is a custard aroota... which is worth a whopping 20 NP 😂😂

    Found this guy while pound surfing. Randomly morphed him (he was a red Ixi) because I like Halloween Tonus (I think the Frankenstein look is adorable). He was definitely an impulse adopt but I already really love him haha!

    i had a board last night offering up one of my Roman named pets for trade (let's call the pet Tiberius). another classics fan came on & we were talking about how many great classics names are on inactive accounts, and discussing dream names of pets we wish we had, and a common mythological name came up, let's call it 'Orpheus' . later that day, a user messages me saying that she has Orpheus on a side (she NMs from that side so i know it's real) and she's also a classics fan and wants to do a name swap for Tiberius !

    the account is very old, 15 years, and so is the pet, it's just a basic pet. the account is not built up at all (not so many avatars etc) but the person neomailing seems nice and genuinely interested in the classics ?? i'm just worried that this is a hack or a scam or something because what are the odds ? is there any kind of way to verify this ? i love love LOVE the name of the pet she's offering though so i really want it to be real !

    If you have Chrome: get Tampermonkey to use it! Greasemonkey for Firefox, and I'm unsure about other browsers.

    Easy Fix for Flash!

    So, as many others I was upset that Flash has been now permanently 'outlawed.' I was searching around for workarounds to get it to work and many involved downloading different browsers/Flash patches, using old Flash updates, or other types of file manipulation things which to me felt like I'd be putting myself open to vulnerabilities.

    Well I found one solution that had to with manipulating the clock on a virtual machine because Flash was disabled at the exact time of the twelfth. Well I decided to just try and rollback the time on my actual PC and see if by some sort of grace of god it'd think it hadn't turned passed 1/12 yet; lo and behold it worked. Long story short, allow your PC clock to be manually set and turn the date back to say 1/11 and you can once again use Flash player as before as long as your browser is set to allow it. Sorry for the long winded response just wanted to give my lil' anecdote to let others know!

    TL;DR: Allow your Time/Date on your pc to be manually set and turn the date back to before 1/12/21.
