    • It is encouraged and customary to copy/paste the confirmation after you send an item to another user. This helps prevent duplicate gifts in case their wishlists aren't updated instantly! Also helps you figure out who to thank directly for being so generous~ "You have given [fantabulous item to contribute to their collection] to User '[insert UN here]'. Click the button below to continue."
    • Don't forget to leave a courtesy upvote! (And it helps you keep track of who you've already gifted to!)
    • If someone pays you a kindness, big or small, try to PAY-IT-FORWARD! Even if all you can afford is something small, or you can't do it quite yet, keep the kindness someone has paid you in mind and show someone else the same kindness in the future~

    Today I logged in after at least 8 years, and I feel the need to express my disappointment with my impressions of current day neopets.

    Don't get me wrong, I never expected to come back and see things even close to how they were. This isn't a rant about the mobile version swap, or even about the (admittedly pathetic) struggle for the game to evolve from flash.

    Honestly my disappointment comes from how little it seems like even employees care about the website or the community it harbors. I am in utter disbelief that I come back after all this time and the battledome is still in beta so that can't even complete the defenders of neopia. It has been near a decade!! I literally could have gone from undergrad through graduate school with a coding degree and completed an entirely new, better performing system in that amount of time. Does this company legitimately just want to pull the plug? It straight up feels like they have 5 employees, and 3 of them are interns. I don't understand. Can someone here who is more connected to the community fill me in?? Is this simply accepted as the state of things with no comment or interaction with the player base? It seems entirely ludicrous in this day and age.

    Yes I miss the nostalgia of the excellent events I had as a kid, and the wars were some of the most compelling things I ever experienced in the game. You can't compete with nostalgia and I know that isn't for everyone. But come on. Is this game really that dead?

    I've had no problems doing my dailies and loading up pages, but today I keep getting frozen pages. This only happens on the neopets site today, all the other websites I go to run smoothly. (If it helps, I'm on chrome and I've got a decent PC.)

    I had my account silenced while reaching out to a user about web development

    While browsing this thread a few days ago, I read that email addresses were allowed to be exchanged in Neomails (this was pulled from an editorial iirc). I was silenced for 24 hours for the following message "hello! do you mind if we exchange emails for a web development question? mine is blah@blah.com - thank you!" I was very impressed with a user's work on their pre-mades site and wanted to get in touch to see if they were open to doing real-world (and paid) development work for my personal site (non-neo). It's frustrating but awesome how stiff this site has been with their rules. How did any of you meet IRL if you can't exchange contact info?

    I created a side account today, and I did *nothing* but activate it and get the newbie things - i did not do *anything* unallowed such as dailies or spinning wheels, but got frozen 2 hours later? wth. I made a Kau named Mooleen and I love that name so much, I'm honestly pissed. And now I'm scared my main acc will be frozen as well ?! which is why I'm scared to write to TNT. Any ideas?

    My BD pet has 125 attack and I have two Magic Gridlock Gun and should I upgrade to two turned tooth (teeth?) Or does anyone have any suggestions on an upgrade?
