    Hello everyone! This is a mega thread for merchandise sales in which /r/Neopets members can advertise and find sales of Neopets merchandise with ease here. This thread will not be pinned after today, but it will be added to the sidebar.

    Please read the following information carefully and trade safely!

    Rules

    • Sellers must abide by our 90/10 Advertising Rule:

    Some Neopets-related promotional posts/comments are allowed if you are an active member of the subreddit. A maximum of 10% of your contributions can be promotional; the other 90% should be meaningful and active engagement in other conversations here.

    Is Selling NC Cards/Merch/Codes Neo-Legal?

    Hi, TNT. While I was browsing through eBay, I found Neopets trading cards for sale. There are so many, and I was interested in buying some, but wouldn't that be against the rules? I don't really think it would be, but I'd rather ask than risk my account. I'm not 100% sure, but can't you redeem codes from the cards in the packs and get items? Would that then be considered buying items? ~i_luv_cows12345

    No, physical merchandise produced or officially licensed by us is just fine to buy, sell, or trade online. This includes stuff like real life plushies, action figures, TCG cards, etc. Codes are considered a legitimate part of these items. Items you cannot buy or sell online are virtual items, Neopoints, Neopets, or accounts.

    Hi, TNT! I have an odd question for you.... about commissions. Now, I know taking them in exchange for anything on Neopets is against the rules, as is doing commissions with Neopets characters. However... what about real-life merchandise? I'm the sort that's willing to take trades, and I was wondering: could someone pay me in Neopets plushies? What about rare item codes, or Neocash? (the cards, not actual on-site NC items) I mean, people sell the item codes on eBay all the time, so wouldn't that be okay? As far as NC cards go, if I'm just going to buy them anyway, why not save a step? Would these be against the Terms & Conditions because they give things on the site itself? I mean, obviously, it still wouldn't be okay to do a commission OF Neopets, but in exchange for merchandise, where do you guys stand? (please remove my username) ~username removed

    As you said, as long as you aren't taking commissions of Neopets intellectual property, you're welcome to trade or sell your real-world merchandise however you'd like. According to Lawyerbot: "Trading plushies, rare item codes, NC cards, etc. for real-life merchandise is fine. I once traded my brother's turtle to a friend for a Shadow Uni Plushie.

    Can I just send the Space Faerie Code, but keep the items?

    Hi, TNT! So, I had a question about gifting rare item codes, Space Faerie codes, site theme codes (like Puzzle Adventure), etc. I know it is against the rules to ask for anything like "tips" or compensation in return for gifting a code, as well as selling codes. However, is it against the rules to ask someone to return the item that they got from the code itself? Say someone receives a plushie from redeeming a code. Is it okay to ask that they return the plushie, or would it be better to say something like, "I would greatly appreciate if you return the item, but it's not required" since non-requested thank you gifts are allowed? I just wanted to be sure. Thank you for your time! Also, a side note: I LOVE YOU, TNT.     If the receiver is kind enough to return the item from the code, we wouldn't consider it any sort of "tip" due to the nature of Rate Item Codes. That said, once you give away the code, it is up to the codebearer to decide what to do with the item. You can ask them as you phrased the example above, but code gifting is an unsupported transaction and we will likely be unable to assist if the person chooses to keep the item.

    What Neopets Merchandise gives out the Space Faerie challenger?

    Products that can reward the Space Faerie challenger are:

    • Old Neocash Mystery Capsules Codes

    • Fun Pak Codes

    • Comic-Con Codes

    • Newer Merch Codes (Overpowered, 20th Anniversary, etc.), etc.

    • TCG, Current Neocash, and Promotional Rare Item Codes do not reward the Space Faerie challenger.

    If you have Chrome: get Tampermonkey to use it! Greasemonkey for Firefox, and I'm unsure about other browsers.

    This is my first post! I found out from a neofriend that a browser called Puffin still contains flash. It's safe, secure and there's a free month long trial if you want to try it out. (I made sure to do research on it first) After that it's $2 a month. The entire Neopets site works. All the games, all the features and extras. Worth the free trial at least. Hope this helps anyone! Upvote this so everyone can see please

    I just bought a Kacheek Pyjama doll because someone said it could be used on any neopet, but now I believe I am stupid because it's only for Kacheek, isn't it? 😞😞 it won't show in my closet and I paid a bit for it :/ it's happened to several of my closet items, they don't show up at all...

    i posted here back in late 2019 after coming back from a huge hiatus and getting back into the site, but it was a very brief return because health and other stuff got in the way. but!! i'm back on again and really into it this time!!

    wishing i'd managed to get back on before flash died (i miss playing flash games badly!!) but still glad to be back on nonetheless.

    i hope it's okay just to post like a general kinda intro like this! (and a couple questions) if not please let me know!

    but yeah i'm just working towards my goals and stuff (which are admittedly a long way off ahaha) and i did the food club for the first time today! using garets bets and i made a pretty decent profit!! my bank only has 500k in it so it was very helpful lol

    also just have a few lil questions! has anyone recently had any luck recovering old accounts with the new help ticket system?? i tried a few times before but didn't get anywhere with it, i so want the account back purely for nostalgia purposes tho! my current account is only 3 years younger than my initial one, but it'd always be nice to get it back.

    also, sorry if this is obviously stated anywhere but is there like a changelog / update log solely for flash game conversions?? or have they mentioned anything about timelines for conversions? mindlessly playing my old fav neo games is something im missing more than i thought lol

    Can access flash content on Neo in Pale Moon but keyboard inputs aren't detected?

    So, like many of you on here, I installed Pale Moon and an archived version of Flash so I could do something about my intense Typing Terror withdrawals.

    I can get Flash games to load, and point-and-click games work just fine! But when a game requires the arrow keys, or any keys at all, the keyboard inputs aren't registered. Any of you members of the Flash Workaround Club experienced this, and if so, how did you fix it? Thanks! :)

    Got another FFQ and I have one pending so looking to get someone a wonderful new pet!

    I can't use it to paint one of your own pets, but I can use it to paint a pet from the pound or a newly created one. I'd much rather you found a pet in the pound you like to avoid waiting a week to transfer.

    I can also use it on AngelineFowl the kougra or scrawdon the bori if anyone likes those names (can do a cheap morph if you want another species). They're pets I have been zapping from the pound, scrawdon comes with an awesome zapped disco sklyde!

    Please just comment the species + paint you want and let me know if it's one of those, a pet in the pound, or an untaken name you want the FFQ on. I'll choose in an hour or two~

    Suggestion to revamp how pet feeding works with certain items

    I've recently adopted more pets from the pond because they are cute, but it's quickly become a chore feeding all of them.

    I usually feed them until they are fine or satiated, because I personally dislike the sensation of feeling bloated after eating, so I don't want my pets to experience that (I always left them bloated as a kid btw).

    Even so, no matter if I buy lots of cheap omelettes or pizzas, it takes a while to feed them.

    So here's the suggestion:

    ​

    When a pet has red hunger, it will eat up more than one bite/slice of items that can be fed multiple times, until it's at fine or satieted hunger.

    ​

    Instead of taking a bite of an omelette and turning it into a 2/3 omelette for example, and then 1/3 omelette when feeding it again, your pet would eat the whole thing at once, and you'd get a message such as:

    "You feed omelette to Pet_name, but he/she was so hungry that he/she ate the whole thing! Pet_name was red_hunger_level and is now hunger_level."

    Just a simple QoL change, but would be quite an improvement for multiple pet management. :)
