It's the place for real life excitement or gripes and even stuff having to do with Neopets that doesn't really merit its own post.     Found a FAERIE in the pound and instantly got it (he got nice stats too)! Not my favourite breed but the pb makes everyone look good, he's a northern bby now! First childhood dream complete :D

    I really need some visibility here since I'm hoping this member is on reddit. I was in the MIDDLE of buying an item for Secret Santa, and their account was disabled.

    Just in case they are, your name starts with an "L" and ends with numbers.

    So this user had a few high priced items for trade, said to NM offers. I did, they accepted (wasn't ridic low, 3m item on average, I offered 2.9m) and asked if I wanted a NF auction or split trade, I went with the trade since I am beyond excited to send the item in question.

    They set up two trades, one with the item, and one with a pizza.

    I clicked on their profile to go to their trades and suddenly their account is disabled (literally less than a minute after they messaged me that the trades were up). I go to the my inbox, their messages are gone. I go through my browser history to their main trading post page, and their trades are gone.

    Did me trying to check their profile and stuff too much cause this or did I just get really lucky not having sent the first part of the trade?

    I can't remember how old their account was, but their profile was pretty and some effort of some sort was put into it.

    In their trade they said "no reseller offers" so I mentioned that I wanted to buy this item for a friend for the holidays for their gallery and that neither of us would resell, but no mention of secret santa, reddit, christmas, anything like that or cheekily alluding to it. My account so far is still fine.

    Should I be worried? Wtf happened???

    EDIT It has come to my attention that I was likely just extremely lucky based on some possible questionable behaviour from this user.

    Today I arrived at a local grocery at the same time police did, minutes after a robbery. I nearly inhaled a spider in my bathroom, and now this. I guess it's time to buy a lottery ticket.

    I'm just here to vent about how my main Neopet picked a food from the monthly freebie and when I went to feed her the chosen food item, the response was, "Yuck! I'm not eating one of those!"

    Advent calendar prizes: keep or sell?

    If you have Chrome: get Tampermonkey to use it! Greasemonkey for Firefox, and I'm unsure about other browsers.
