    Introduction Post - Matches Mailed Out - Share Your Gifts - Reveal Thread

    It's been a week since the matches were mailed out, so now it's time to share what y'all got or have given! Need some advice about gift giving? Feel free to ask in here! Or if you just want to share in the general merriment of the holiday season, you can do that too!

    Friendly reminder:

    Do not, under any circumstances, mention Reddit, Discord, or Secret Santa (or similar variations) on Neopets. By doing so, you risk your account being silenced, or worse, frozen!

    We sound like broken records at this point, but it's still happening. We would greatly appreciate it if Secret Santa participants would adhere to this very important guideline. We've had a lot of people do this. WE DO NOT WANT Y'ALL GETTING IN TROUBLE!!!

    Some other things to note:

    • Please remember to check Neopets and your item event log regularly. Gifts that are not accepted within 48 hours will be returned to sender! (check Reddit for messages as well, if you allowed your giftee to see your Reddit UN)
    • Keep your inventory below 50 items so you have room to receive your gifts!
    • Remember to check the FAQ, troubleshooting, and the handy dandy timeline on the first two posts (conveniently linked at the top of this post)!
    • [Initial] Gifts should be sent by December 20th, 11:59 PM NST! (You are welcome to continue sending your giftee more stuff past this date, so long as you sent them stuff before. Do not wait until after this date to send your gifts or you may end up on the naughty list, and your giftee will be rematched.)

    Art participants: If you share your art within this thread you do not need to message Me or Novey with your Imgur link!

    Stealthy Pet Giveaway!

    A while ago, I put Shintoni the VWN stealthy Buzz up for adoption. Sadly, I haven't had any luck in finding her a new owner. I'm assuming it's because, unfortunately, Buzzes aren't the most desirable species on Neopets. I recently got Premium, so I've decided that I want to use my species change perk to change her into a more desirable species and adopt her out.

    Comment a number below between 1 and 100, and what species of stealthy pet you want. If you correctly guess the number I'm thinking of, you win the pet!

    Here are the rules:

    1: No Draiks or Krawks, sadly the perk doesn't allow you to change your Neopets into them.

    2: If you guess the winning number, and someone else has been guessed it already, the first person who guessed the winning number wins the pet.

    3: If no one guesses the actual number I'm thinking of, the person who guessed the closest number wins the pet.

    4: The deadline to enter is Saturday, December 7 at 1 PM NST.

    Chances of actually getting something good with the Coincidence daily??

    After returning to the site after a long hiatus, one of the new things I noticed was the Coincidence (after seeing why the price for some tombola items suddenly skyrocketed lmao). I've tried it a few times here and there but have never gotten anything good out of it! I mostly get nothing, once or twice I've gotten stat gains but then accompanied by more frequent stat losses. I only ever really do it now if the items required are the cheaper ones, like the moon comb or fish. But even still it feels like I'm wasting a couple thousand nps for no reason. I feel like I have better luck with the coconut shy and that thing it supposed to be rigged! :P

    Is this daily even worth it? I know it's definitely more worth it to sell the pricey items but should I even try it with the cheaper ones?

    Faerie Scratch Card Issue?

    So this could be a non-issue but I don't want to end up getting in trouble because I didn't realize there was a problem. I recently rejoined premium (because if I'm going to play I can't live without the SSW) I logged in today to hit my faerie scratch card and it seems like there are unlimited scratch cards. I scratch, I win np, another one pops up. I've done like 10 so far. Is this a problem? Why would I have so many?

    Anyone else had this issue?

    So my account was restored after a freezing but to a 3 week old side account
    I have a 7 year old account but under a different email that I wanna make my main account
    Has anyone had issues switching mains if it's under a different email? I'm not able to change the email because the main's email is full (but all frozen accounts)

    I would love your opinion on what to do with:

    -a grey Cybunny (moved her over as my 7th pet on my main so I would like something other than the Grey Day background)

    -a faerie Hissi

    -a faerie Grundo (my favorite pet/color combo besides a woodland grundo)

    -a faerie Ruki (I thiiiiink I might have done okay with this one)

    -an eventide Kau

    -an 8-bit Lenny (currently have him on an 8-bit background, not exactly sure if there are any other options for that)

    You can check my main for the other customs I have. Ignore that stupid starry gelert, he's my lab rat. UN: krlghdnllgrz
