    You do not have to post the name of the pet or the name of your account if you do not wish, but remember to check your reddit PMs if this is the only means of communication you are allowing!

    Please update or edit your comments once you have found a new home for your pets.

    Hello! Welcome to the Weekly Customization Thread (a.k.a Trendy Thursdays), this is where you can request help to customize one of your pets, and anyone who wants to help can reply to them.

    Also, if you have any general question about NC, or what petpet goes with your pet, etc, feel free to ask here too!

    Rules:

    To ask for help on a customization, you need to provide the following information:

    • Species.

    • Colour.

    • Gender.

    • Name of the pet. (Not necessary, but it might help get a better understanding of a theme)

    • Theme, if you have any.

    • Limitations on wearables, if you can only use NP, or you can also use some NC.

    • If you are able to cross-paint your pet.

    format is not necessary to copy, also if you have a half-finished custom you don't have to provide the info :)

    To help make customizations, please try to follow these simple guidelines:

    • Include a link to the customization. (Using DTI or JN's Wardrobe)

    • Try to include a brief summary of why you customized like that. (Not necessary but it can help!)

    • If you use expensive NC items, make sure to find other items to replace them (if the user can't afford them).

    • You can reply to anyone who needs help, you can't take dibs on one user.

    • You can also reply to other customizations offered to do constructive criticism or offer modifications. (Remember to be nice.)

    • If the customization you reply with is not yours, please give credit to the creator.

    I made this Plumpy figurine years ago in college. It took a lot of clay and hot glue to keep the wings in place. The halo was stuck in with a toothpick.

    For those of you, like me, who are absolute hoarders on Neopets, I found a "new" tool.

    On JellyNeo's database there is a SDB price checker tool. You can copy the page source of each page in your safety deposit box, and it will tell you how much your items are worth. Originally I had been searching one item at a time.

    I constantly collect stuff (and have a sdb 63 pages long) and found out I'm sitting on a couple million because books and pet pets I have inflated drastically! If you hoard items, I strongly recommend checking it out.

    I'm also selling a ton of stuff as I come across it. If anyone is looking for specific items (gallery stuff, advent calendars from years past, or even just random stuff) send me a PM I'd love to set people up with items.

    Hi!

    I'm Robbe, I play neopets for 13.5 years and I'm happy! That's reason enough to give something back to the community, right?

    The first 19 people that comment their username get a 100k neopoints 'bag' as a gift :) make a trading post lot if you will.

    And don't forget, dont mention reddit on neopets!

    If you have Chrome: get Tampermonkey to use it! Greasemonkey for Firefox, and I'm unsure about other browsers.

    Pet for Adoption: Nostradamuz

    ((Mods: Apologies if the flair is incorrect, but I could not find an Adoption one to use for this ;0;!))

    He needs a bit more training in defence and a good weapons set, but he's ready for his forever home :D

    The Lab Ray/Petpet Lab Ray played nice tonight & a lovely user on the TP was online at the right time =D
    This sweet, well-named boy is done =D

    I am offering him up for adoption with his full customisation above and am leaving his zapped petpet as is (The reason for the low date is because the petpet lab ray exploded his first petpet, aha! If the adopter has the petpet lab ray active, they can continue zapping until they get a matching Zombie petpet; I do think the Khura is a pretty good match given his overall customisation though. Name was given by the petpet lab ray and was originally "Petpet of DOOM" - I can change it back for the adopter before he leaves <3).

    He is indeed a crosspainted pet: Pirate (for the shirt & bandana), Halloween (for the facemask) & Zombie (for the fur colour/customisation).
    [He will be traded with a Pirate/Halloween Bori MP + Zombie Paint Brush to keep this customised look intact <3]

    His description simply has the link-back button for the Lost And Pound (where I found him originally) so that is being left up to his adopter to 'fill in the blanks' as it were :D

    His b'day is 4 days after my RL one(!), and is coming up soon (be sure to give him lots of hugs, won't you!!!) <3

    As much as I would dearly love to keep him (he's been such a joy to have amongst my babies), doing so would be defeating the point of giving back to this sub & to the folks who have dreamie goals via the Lab Rays as much as I do.

    Nostradamus himself was more a predictor of the bad and terrible, but this boy would rather be a predictor of happy events: So, with that in mind, what has been your happiest Neopets event or memory over the past two decades of the site?

    This isn't first come first serve, and the more detail about the event/memory, the better :D
    I LOVE reading about how Neopets has helped folks here, both new and returning, so throw those memories at us!

    Applications for this lovely lad will stay open until around Midnight, 8th January (Rest of the World)/9th January (Oceanic).
