    FESTIVAL OF NEGGS 2020 MEGATHREAD

    Festival of Neggs is back!

    This time Topsi has fucked off and Kari is back to hosting the event, but otherwise, it's pretty much the same as usual in terms of finding Neggs in various locations. This event goes from April 9th until April 24th - so about 2 weeks. The first day is a day and a half day.

    Q: When does this event end?

    A: It runs through April 24th, 11:59:59 PM NST.

    Q: Why isn't the Negg options showing?

    A: Make sure you accepted that you're going to be participating in the event hub first so that you can go collect those Neggs.

    Q: Do the gold checkmarks matter for anything?

    A: There's a bonus reward at the end if you can find the hidden Negg for the day. You won't receive this bonus prize if you find the Negg after the day on which it is released.

    Q: Are they re/releasing the Festival of Negg Site Theme?

    A: We would say probably yeah, so the only requirement for that is to pick up at least one Negg.

    Q: Are they re/releasing any Festival of Negg Avatars?

    A: We are unsure of that at the moment, but we're leaning no.

    Q: Am I allowed to participate on a side account?

    A: No, you are not allowed to participate in a Side Account as you obtain NP items from this event.

    I've recently started playing again and although I haven't been able to gain access to my 16 yo account (RIP my pets), I am loving neopets again!

    My favourite 'new' additions to the site are the Negg cave (got an Ultimate Icy Negg on my seventh go!), the Coincidence, and Trudy's surprise - I would've killed for such easy np when I was younger.

    My new goals are to play the vending machine as I never understood this when I was younger, to get all the pieces of the damn secret laboratory map as I'd always save up but spend it on something else instead, get back on that avatar hypeeeeee, get a plushie/maraquan/faerie Draik (it's so much easier now via a pirate egg!) and Krawk, and immerse myself in all the wonderful nostalgia.

    I remember when a lot of the colours like grey and royal came out, so I'm excited for those too. Also managed to scoop a Chomby from the pound with the cutest name, Chompyiana, so need to decide what to do with her - maybe jelly in honour of my childhood jelly blobs of doom obsession.

    Has anyone else started playing again because of the virus? 'Working from home' and having lots of time on my hands reminded me of all the fun time I spent on Neopets.

    Change your password if you haven't in a while, put a pin on everything, use different passwords for your sides. Don't auto save.

    Heck change your email password, too.

    My main and side accounts were compromised. I still can't get into my sides but after literally changing the password back and forth with apparently someone else and getting locked out for the past hour. I'm back in.

    Clear your cookies. Put a pin on to make email changes.

    You've worked so hard for so long, don't let some poop face take it away from you.

    Charity Corner Redemption Questions

    I figured I post this here, it seems like this is more active than neo haha.

    I know Charity Corner was a loooong time ago, but life happened and I honestly never had a solid week free where I could try for all the game avatars I still need.

    So, it's been a while and my memory is hazy and hopefully there's been more information out there now.

    I already checked JN for these answers.

    1. If I get a perk me up that I want to keep (example: Zapped!), does that perk go away the instant I try again for more for less? Or is it like a FFQ where it sits there indefinitely?
    2. Was anything ever determined with Avatar Goldmine for the Snowager? Was it worth the 200% increase (I already have the others)? Are the odds REALLY in your favor? I remember a lot of speculation about it.

    Secret Lab

    I've been trying to get pieces for the secret lab map but so far have only been able to afford one piece. Does anyone have any tips on getting the pieces? I've also tried the Trading Post but so far no luck. Is the map really worth it?

    Do y'all know of any exercise-themed wearables?

    I want to make a pet inspired by my trainer and all the stuff I do with her! But I haven't seen very many items that fit what I'm going for except for the Cupcake Boxing Gloves (which if anyone has some they'd be willing to part with/trade pls let me know!!) and the Weighty Thinking Foreground.

    So, does anyone have any other ideas? I appreciate any input!

    Hi! I adopted a Halloween gelert in the pound and I would like to know if anyone has a spare of his clothes and would be willing to give me, trade or sell it, whatever is best for you!

    Just remembering that the transfer of the pet must be made by transfer or otherwise the clothes will disappear. So, you need to have a transfer left!

    What went wrong? How can I improve on my shop?

    hi! I recently came back to Neopets after I last played it maybe 11 or 12 years ago. As a kid I only played the minigames in the website and wasn't concerned about making/savings neopoints. But after coming back and seeing the awesome paintbrushes and cosmetic items, I wanted to get into saving up for them so I googled a bit and my research brought me to a website listing all the 'dailies' to complete. One of them was the Igloo Garage Sales.

    I noticed that the items there were sold at a low price and I could resell the items for a profit. It worked well initially and I could clear the items by the next day or by the next 2 - 3 days. As time pass I realised it was getting harder and harder to clear my stocks. Recently I have been needing to expand/add space to my shop and it's getting increasingly expensive to do so.

    Any ideas/suggestions on stocking of items to make sure they sell? I price the items after referring to jellyneo item database and refreshing shop wizard search more than 10 times to make sure my prices are 100 - 200 NP below the cheapest listing I can see.

    I'm trying to save up for a faerie/baby pb so any suggestions are welcomed!

    *edit to amend that I also refer to shop wizard, in fact, mainly shop wizard and jellyneo as reference!
