    I'm not really familiar with the Neoboards. I probably visited them once between 2011 - till about a week ago. (I just prefer sticking to myself on neopets).

    But I was looking to see if I could find some cool coloured pets that I could trade for, and I did some on this lovely subreddit, but I saw someone mention the Neoboards pound chat... So I tried visiting the Neoboards for basically the first time.

    Instantly I was blasted by a total circus of uncontrolled posting- it just goes by so fast! And there was a gazillion acronyms that I didn't have a clue about - in fact it's still a bit confusing.

    The most prominent was UC - and then I found about unconverted pets and how they have different graphics etc. And how they are rare. The board is like all trading for these silly "unconverted" pets. And there's a bunch of "tiers" crap which I still don't have a clue about.

    But the silliest thing to me was the concept of trading for names - I'm someone who doesn't care about names at all, and while I understand some people do, the system seems a bit weird - there's well named, decently named, badly named, etc. But what seems dumb to me is isn't that all subjective? One person might consider something a good name and to another it's a really bad name. And a lot of these so called well named are LAME, but just cause they are short it's a good name. I just don't get it...

    But yeah, the board goes by soooo fast, and it's just spam about UC. There's not much talk about people simply looking to exchange pets with cool colours.

    TNT should just straight up remove unconverted pets or sell them in the shop or something. This whole trading circus is just ridiculous.

    So that's the rant of me, a guy just simply trying to get some cool pets, found about this mess in the span of a few days. Rant over :)

    P.S I did end up getting the pets I desired from using the great reddit thread here.

    I finally figured out my magma pool time after a solid week of tracking, and my 18 year old blue Ixi took a nice dip!! Since I obtained my dream mutant Ixi from an amazing Redditor, it pushed me to work towards this. <3

    Is my account in any danger?

    I have a real life friend who keeps messing around and getting her Neopet accounts frozen. (she's had 6 frozen in the last 30 days)

    Every time she makes a new account she sends me a friend request, and gets upset if I don't accept it. But well it's fun to have a neofriend and someone to chat with and send little gifts back and forth that we think the other would like. I'm afraid that the fact that she keeps getting herself frozen is eventually going to get my account (which I've had for over ten years) frozen by association.

    hi again! few days ago I posted here for help regarding what to stock for my shop. I received a lot of tips, suggestions (thank you everyone who commented!) and also had people buying out my shop and sending me items! (thank you again, kind souls^^) Of these items, I received a baby pb I mentioned that I was saving up and I promised I'll post here again with my baby pet once I've gotten her painted so, here's my little hana <3
