    If you have Chrome: get Tampermonkey to use it! Greasemonkey for Firefox, and I'm unsure about other browsers.

    Apparently someone hacked my Neopets account to trade/sell my UCs which is hilarious to me

    So I was a truly avid player of Neopets in its prime (2002-2006ish) then dropped off for a few years and logged into my account for the last time back in 2011. I guess UCs were all the rage at the time because I had a flooded neomail inbox for people who wanted my UC Royalgirl Cybunny, Grey Kau and Baby Kougra. I played for a bit but lost interest again and didn't log on after that....until today.

    Bored as hell in quarantine I decided to revisit my glory days of staying up way past my bedtime to get rare avatars and trying to understand the stock market as an 11 year old in order to save up for paintbrushes. Turns out my account had been purged...or so I thought.

    Apparently my account had been frozen, and a quick search of my old neopets names finds one of them alive and well and extremely well taken care of by a user who joined in 2008 and was active as of under one day ago. My old neopet has a very detailed webpage with tooooons of fanart, a ridiculously long backstory and a note from his new owner thanking the person who gave him to her...who is absolutely not me. They also stylized the name of my neopet in a way that's really funny to me because it was a 'l33t' version of my actual real-life cat's name and this person seems to have missed that entirely.

    Not sure why I decided to write this, I guess I'm mostly amused, nostalgic, and impressed neopets still has a passionate following and ultimately I'm grateful someone decided to take matters into their own hands and give my sweet UC the love it deserves. Sadly my other UCs seem to have gone the way of my account were given away then frozen, so it's nice to see the legacy living on somewhere.

    TL;DR - Someone named Shayla gave my 15 year old (!!!) UC pet to someone else who's had him since 2015 and seems like a great owner, so thanks for hacking me Shayla!!

    I've been playing Hasee Bounce for a year now and didn't understand why I couldn't get the letters even though I landed on the perfectly. So after cursing up a storm and almost vowing to never play this children game that's so popular, I decided to Google my question. Apparently the orange Hasee only eats orange and same for purple Hasee. So simple! The lightbulb is on in my adult brain and all makes sense.

    Anyways. Have you had a similar experience while playing Neopets or am I the only one?

    I finally won the BTY Gold Trophy for the first time today. The weird thing is, after I checked my userlookup, It shows that I had won it 2 times but a few minutes before I only had the silver trophy. Well, free gold trophy for me :D

    I'm a returning player but I've been around since the website was created.

    All I'm really seeing are influx of NC items. I get why, because the pet trading market is the highest part of Neo right now, but I'm wondering if they will ever fix the BD.

    Does anyone know why my mara pet cannot wear Damask Lamp Garland when DTI has no issues with it? I just cant figure it out.
