| Guide: How to blindly follow FC bets Posted: 29 Jun 2020 01:20 PM PDT I wrote a pretty long comment to another user and figured I'd just post it here for everyone to see. If all you want is free Neopoints and you don't really care about the specifics of how FC works, this is the guide for you. TL;DR of Food Club: It's a betting game where you bet on which pirates will win in an eating contest. I don't know the mathematics of why, but somehow if you bet properly, Food Club is guaranteed profit. [Anecdote: My personal ROI (return on investment) is 1.77 (i.e. I've made 1.77 NP for every 1 NP I put into Food Club). All I did was blindly follow other users' bets.] STEP ONE: Choose a bettor to follow. Many people on this subreddit follow /u/jkRollingDown. He posts his bets on the daily Food Club thread. Two other popular bettors are Garet and Phoenix. Garet's bets tend to be on the safe side, so he busts (loses all his money from the day's bets) less often. However, his wins also tend to be smaller. On the other hand, Phoenix's bets tend to be riskier, so busts are more frequent but the wins are pretty big. JKR is kind of in between in terms of risk/reward. Overall, I'd say all three bettors have fairly similar ROIs (returns on investment), so it's really up to you. STEP TWO: Follow the bets. Now that you've picked a bettor, you have to follow their bets. First things first, find out your bet limit. This is the maximum amount of NP you can place in each bet. You can find your bet limit on this page. If you choose to follow JKR (or other bettors that post their bets in the subreddit or Discord), you can place bets through the NeoFoodClub system. Follow this guide. If you choose to follow Garet or Phoenix (or other bettors that post their bets on petpages), follow this guide, made by /u/wowgreatdog. And that's it! Let the Neopoints roll in! | Restocking and other Shop Woes Posted: 29 Jun 2020 01:14 PM PDT Sigh. Does anyone else run into this weird situation? They're restocking their large-ish (I mean if 800 items is considered large idk) shop by buying a few products each day but not putting down prices, just moving them into the shop. They browse the auction house and do a bunch of other things to get good stuff to sell. For me it's mainly scratchcards, quest items, training items like dubloons and codestones. So now you've got 800 items and you gotta price them and thank god for the SSW but by the next day ALL your inventory is almost gone and you must go out and restock once more. Like I need to do it in breaks because it takes so long to get the stuff in a good way and it goes so fast that I feel burned out. All my hard work is gone in a day. Which means I get NPs but it's still a weird feeling. Does anyone else feel that way? [link] [comments] | ||
