    A fix for site loading issues (games page and games themselves, battledome, etc). Specifically for Chrome with either Adblock Plus or Ublock Origin.

    I'm not technically savvy really, so I can't explain why it's happening, but after seeing everywhere that it's due to a script being blocked by adblockers, I did a little digging and fixed it in just a few minutes. Games page now loads, all games load, Battledome loads, all is back to being well in the world. Here are the steps you need to take:

    Adblock Plus

    1. Click the ABP icon in the upper right of your browser and click the gear icon in the upper right of that to open up the options.

    2. Go to the advanced tab and scroll down to the bottom. In the section titled "My Filter List" add the following line of code:

    @@||powerad.ai^$third-party

    3. Click Add. Done.

    This fixed all issues for me instantly. Once I figured out which script was being blocked a little Googling went a long way. Hope this helps people out there. I was stuck clueless for the past 2 days and missed out on a lot of np from games and such.

    The @@ at the beginning of the line adds an exception. To determine the rest I just clicked the gear icon next to "EasyList" in my filters categories and went to source, then ctrl+f and searched for powerad.ai. Found the line, copied it, added the exception tag @@ and added it. So if this happens with future scripts or such, this is how you determine the line to exclude.

    Ublock Origin

    1. Click the UO icon in the upper right of your browser, then click the far right symbol beneath the on/off button that looks like sliders to open the dashboard.

    2. Go to the "My Filters" tab at the top and add the following line of code:

    @@||powerad.ai^$third-party

    3. Click on Apply Changes. Done.

    In case this happens in the future with other scripts, to determine what you need to create an exception for with the @@ prefix, go to the Filter Lists tab and click on the lists one by one and do ctrl+f to find the appropriate tags. Copy the entire line relevant to the script(s) in question and add them as exceptions.

    Just wanted to talk about how much I adore the title for the Gormball landing page. Why are *all three* letters of "its" drawn out? Try saying it out loud, it sounds absurd. No extra letters in Gormball though! And a single, prudish exclamation point. Always new mysteries to notice on this site.

    How is it that this site seems to continuously get worse rather than better?

    When I was younger playing this game I didnt remember having a lot of problems with the actual site itself. Now between the security loading screens when I first came back to being blocked from the site entirely to this new adscript making parts unusable with adblock and lag horribly without it? How is it even possible? Neopets is TWENTY and Jumpstart has owned them for over 5 years and they still havent figured things out, even though this site has barely changed in over a decade!

    If you have Chrome: get Tampermonkey to use it! Greasemonkey for Firefox, and I'm unsure about other browsers.

    Battledome Idea: Group Challenges

    Basically what if when/if they decide to improve the battledome Challenges they added group battles and gave old mostly useless gear special effects during them. How a group challenge works is like this

    - You have a party of 2-5 neopets

    -there will be 1-5 Opponents

    -Certain Items will mass buff/debuff/heal or buff/debuff/heal a single neopet/opponent

    -maybe give agility/intelegence more of a use with this type of item?

    The idea is older more antiquated gear will get a use, People have a reason to train all of their pets, and it could add a bit more variety to the battle dome experience. I know it probably won't ever get implemented but I'm just curious about peoples thoughts on my idea and kinda wanna talk about how the battledome can be made better and more enjoyable all around.

    Neohome 2.0 walls not working?

    Hey everyone!

    I just recently started working on my Neohome 2.0 and I already know it's plagued with glitches. I'm trying to make walls but it's not working at all. I looked around and couldn't find anyone mentioning this problem so maybe it's just me?

    Please let me know if any of you know how to fix this if it's even possible. Thanks!
