    Hello peeps! This is your friendly reminder than this is your last day to send (initial) gifts. Please make sure to send your gits by 11:59 PM NST or else... Your match will get rematched. Especially important: please, if you plan to send gifts even closer to Christmas you need to send some gifts now!

    If you are having any issues at all please pm (me) /u/gloomier (or /u/xxnovey but she's busy and less likely to reply).

    If you've tried to send your gifts, but they weren't accepted:

    • Send the person a neomail (without mentioning Reddit, discord, or secret Santa), or a Reddit message if you were given their UN.
    • Send me /u/gloomier a message and I'll see what's up.

    More Friendly Reminders:

    • Make sure your inventory (and inbox) is cleared so that you can accept your gifts.
    • Check Neopets as frequently as you can, otherwise, your gifts may be sent back (after 48 hours).
    • If you do not receive a gift after the deadline, message us on the 21st or ASAP after so that we can set up a new Santa for you during the back-up gifting period!

    I got the techno cheesy and geraptiku avatars (finally), won the fruit machine, got a species change on the lab ray, hit some high numbers on bagatelle, actually made money on coconut shy (but didn't knock down a coconut), I popped a balloon in kiko pop and got something from the meteor. Just every little thing seems to be going perfectly.

    Today in the AC i won " Origins of Borovan Day" book, I thought "cooooooool! My Camucamu has a new book :D" , but... but...., the next tab played the apple bobbing "splash Oh no! Not your Origins of Borovan Day." WHY??!! Really neopets, of all my items... Sorry, just want to share this.

    If you have Chrome: get Tampermonkey to use it! Greasemonkey for Firefox, and I'm unsure about other browsers.

    What’s the deal with the Origins of Borovan Day book??!!

    Ugh I sold mine for 800k on the TP when I should have a) not sold it but especially b) just put it in my shop for 999,999 or even c) asked for much more money than "best offer" on the TP 😑

    I thought for sure the price would come way down on that one but still can't be found on the SSW.

    Edit: OH here they are now finally showing up in my SSW! Thank god I sold mine for 800k 😂

    Edit 2: wait nevermind, I just ran another search to buy a third and they've disappeared from the SSW. What. Is. Happening.

    I feel like as a community we need to do something. With flash dying next year and there still being a host of players still engaged in casual neopets gaming we should figure out a way we can do our own part to keep the site alive.

    I'm not talking just logging on, buying premium, buying NC. I really think we can do more to expand our community.

    this also includes dialogue with TNT.

    Right now a third of the games just don't work because of shockwave no longer existing.

    Next year all flash on many browsers will not be supported for security reasons. (So most likely many things will be gif accessible only).

    I'm no advocate for FULL REBOOT NEOPETS 2.0 but I'd really like for us a community to push now instead of 10 months from now when issues crop up.

    A major issue is the fact this site is not new player friendly(since a lot of things don't work because you have to manually click allow flash player in your browser)

    I'd like us to have a dialogue with TNT to add a message when you log in or access the site, where it explains to you how to safely enable flash player.

    Also to remove all shockwave games or have a box like Trudys to enable and disable them from being shown in the game room (disabled by default) so new players Don't get confused.

    Second off, I think the world has evolved enough to easily put real time chat bars into the site. Moderated by TNT for open newbie, casual, and trade chat. And possibly guild chat and whispers.

    This In itself would greatly help with the new player experience as well as connecting people who are tired of the outdated neomail and neoboards features.

    Third, Because we cannot directly do the first two, we need to show the world that neopets is still a fun safe place. If you have it in you, make a few YouTube videos explaining new features and how the play the game in 2020. Try streaming the game if you are grinding for that first place trophy for the month In a game. Talk about the site with people. I feel like 90% of the community can sometimes act like smaug sitting alone in their caves a top a mountain of treasure watching days go by. You're an interesting person, share your tips with people, mentor someone, give out a FFQ coloring to someone since all your pets are basically done.

    We can do more for this site than just play it.

    Neopets don't die, their owners just go missing in action.

    OK Maybe not back to back, but one -2 speed in between. MY Xweetok got Darigan first and I didn't want to zap any of them because I liked all of them (and don't want to lose my Lutari) so I made a new pet and zapped it, lost 2 speed, then got darigan again. wowza! (had 3 zaps a day from a fortune cookie)

    Was refreshing SW for Employment Agency item prices and had a Zed Codestone "fall from the sky"!!!

    Possibility of getting access to old account with nonexistent email associated?

    Hi all,

    I am hoping to get access to my old account. It's freakin' 18 years old, so I'm hoping they don't just randomly delete it after I bring it up. I sent in a ticket, posted in highway to help, and am currently waiting. The main problem is that I can't access the associated email account--kiwibox.com doesn't exist anymore, but I listed the email name anyway.
    Has anyone gotten access to their old accounts that were associated with defunct email providers? TIA
