    i went back and played all of the neopets flash games (again)

    2 or 3 years ago i made this post on my old reddit account and it was a lot of fun so i decided to do it again. without looking at my notes from last time, i replayed every flash game (including the ones i missed somehow last time AND the game graveyard games) and jotted down my thoughts. at the end i compared them. some of the games i haven't played since i made that post lmao so it was weird to revisit them again.

    THERE YA GO!!

    (sorry if theyre not in order idk what happened)

    here are some of my thoughts:

    ​

    - i didn't read any guides other than the in game instructions for any of these btw

    ​

    - there are some games (kookia, biscuit brigade, and ugga drop for example) that i would probably be more inclined to play if it didn't take so damn long to get through them. if they just cut out a couple of levels, that would be great. i normally play games for a little extra spending NP when im taking a break from doing other non-neopets things so, i rarely want to sit and play level after level just for a few hundred NP or so. when i was a kid, this wasn't a huge problem because my whole life was neopets and i had the time lmao.

    - on that note, i think it would be cool if the NP ratios were more based on how long it takes to play the game and how difficult the game is instead of just.....random??

    - JUSTICE FOR THE ORIGINAL MAGAX DESTROYER

    ​

    - there are so many games that are exactly the same but reskinned. why tnt?? what is the point??

    ​

    - going back and looking at my old notes is wild because there are some games i struggled with this time that i used to be good at and games that i used to suck at that i've gotten better at over time. reading the instructions helps i guess lol.

    - i made a grand total of 44,826 NP playing every game ONCE and it took me a little over a week (two of those days i had migraines so i only played like 3 or 4 games)

    - i haven't played the game graveyard games in literal years so revisiting them was my favorite part. i got them to work using internet explorer (which apparently has flash on by default so if ur having trouble getting flash to work on chrome or whatever.....try IE) i left off freaky factory and korbat's lab because there wasn't a significant difference between the old versions and the current ones

    Did a Neopets Commercial Air Recently??

    Hello all, so I'm sure word has gotten around by now that Neopets is having a new cartoon coming out. I'm here now because my honey's coworker was talking to him recently, asking if he remembers Neopets. He responded yes, and she said that she saw a commercial for it. ON A MODERN TV CHANNEL! It was only 10 seconds long, 2D, and on a toddler or little kids' TV channel, and cut off very suddenly like it wasn't actually supposed to air.

    He didn't ask further questions and she didn't provide any more info, I just wondered if anyone has maybe seen this? We speculate it may have been an older commercial being re-aired. I also speculate it's either on Noggin, Boomerang, Nick Jr., or PBS Kids, because those fit the bill of "Little kids/Toddler" TV channels.

    Sorry if someone maybe saw and posted something, but I'm burning with curiosity!

    Why did the Neopets website stay largely text-based? Has there even been an attempt to make a 2D/3D version version of Neopia?

    I'm sorry I don't know how to describe the "technical" terms but I played Neopets religiously during the late 2000s and maybe the early 2010s (like 2010-2011) and even then I always wondered why the site didn't have a 2D/3D version of Neopia where you could explore the world like Club Penguin or Webkinz.

    So as I said, is there a reason why the website stayed largely text based? I would've loved to have a human avatar and to be able to dress it up and walk around with your Neopets in game.

    First time betting in Food Club...

    I've never bet on Food Club so I decided to give it a try yesterday and today. I've won both days betting blindly but I'm not sure if I should push my luck and bet a 3rd day in a row... What do you guys think?

    Ugh, I feel dumb and regret trading away a rare NC item.

    Hi guys!
    Last year I had to make room on my main account and so I made the hard decision to transfer my mutant pet to my alt. Because of this I then traded away two of her NC items. One was a Mutant Spring Headband. I am not much of a trader and I didn't know the value and so I got 15GBC for it. Which seemed like a lot compared to what I normally trade items for.

    Well, with the increased pet slot I got the pet back on my main -which was exciting- and I have got her custom going. However, trying to find a Mutant Spring Headband again has been challenging. Worst of all? People on the board has told me that it is worth a lot more than what I traded it to. But, I can't remember who I traded it to and have deleted NM as I didn't think twice.

    So now I just feel dumb. Nothing can be done and it is in the past so I am just having a bit of a rant. I hope I can find another one even if it costs me more. Ugh!

    What do with NP from lab map on side account?

    Recently I activated the lab map on my side account! But I didn't know you would get around 10k for it. What did you guys do with these free lab NP on your side? I don't even know exactly how many were gifted because I started with somewhere around 2000 NP.
