    Hello! Welcome to the Weekly Customization Thread (a.k.a Trendy Thursdays), this is where you can request help to customize one of your pets, and anyone who wants to help can reply to them.

    Also, if you have any general question about NC, or what petpet goes with your pet, etc, feel free to ask here too!

    Rules:

    To ask for help on a customization, you need to provide the following information:

    • Species.

    • Colour.

    • Gender.

    • Name of the pet. (Not necessary, but it might help get a better understanding of a theme)

    • Theme, if you have any.

    • Limitations on wearables, if you can only use NP, or you can also use some NC.

    • If you are able to cross-paint your pet.

    format is not necessary to copy, also if you have a half-finished custom you don't have to provide the info :)

    To help make customizations, please try to follow these simple guidelines:

    • Include a link to the customization. (Using DTI or JN's Wardrobe)

    • Try to include a brief summary of why you customized like that. (Not necessary but it can help!)

    • If you use expensive NC items, make sure to find other items to replace them (if the user can't afford them).

    • You can reply to anyone who needs help, you can't take dibs on one user.

    • You can also reply to other customizations offered to do constructive criticism or offer modifications. (Remember to be nice.)

    • If the customization you reply with is not yours, please give credit to the creator.

    A Long Shot - Finding Specific Neopets that were previously pounded?

    Hey, I figured I would come here to ask, since y'all seem so nice and know your way around the site. My twin pounded a few of her neopets a while back, before the upgrade to 6 neopets, and she's really regretting the choice she made. Is there any way to find them, without knowing their names specifically? We remember certain things, like the species and parts of the names, but it's been a while.

    edit: here's what we remember about them; I'll add more info if we find anything (it may not be identical or accurate (and the names aren't super accurate either) if someone's snatched them from the pound, but I'm willing to trade neopets in order to get them back)

    Wtf is up with the price of dubloons ������

    Until about 5 days ago they were selling on the SW for 200-240NP/dubloon in most denominations apart from 1 and 5 then a few days ago it crept up to 250 and when I went on this morning it had suddenly jumped to over 300??? It seems to be higher every time I look, is this just a normal fluctuation or has it been steadily increasing for a while? I feel so taunted by all the 11k 50db coins I smugly passed up thinking I could get a better price.

    Is this fair trade?

    Hi guys,

    I'm trying to trade my following itens for a Faerie Lutari Morphing Potion:
    1 x Faerielands Destruction Background
    2 x Altador Strength Potion
    1 x Christmas Paintbrush
    1 x Speckled Paintbrush
    1 x Sketch Paintbrush
    1 x Lost Desert Petpet Paintbrush
    1 x Cloudy Snowbunny

    Do you think this is fair trade? I only want to turn my pet Lutari; I'll probably paint it maraquan or water afterwards, I don't enjoy its faerie version. I saw the price for this specific morphing potion is inflated on jn, but this is the best offer I got using my faerie ruin's plot points that I haven't spent yet.

    Having a Lutari is one of my biggest neopets goals. I'm worried about it being fair trade because I will still need to get the water paintbrush/maraquan paintbrush and need to keep as many valuables as I can to invest in foodclub or the stock market afterwards.

    I decided to adopt a Neopet, so I used Lost and Pound (a site that lists Neopets who are stuck in the pound and don't show up in the pound's search unless you specifically look up the name) to try to find one. Browsing through the Zafaras, I found a blue one named "ProfessorQ". I loved the name so much I adopted him immediately.

    What about you all?

    Newbie questions by a veteran

    Hi guys,
    I've been back to playing after a long time hiatus and I've got two newbie questions of today's neopets:

    1) Is there a niche for neohomes? Is still having a classic neohome a thing? Or are these parts of the site too broken and nobody cares about? It seems all the fever is over customization now (which somehow doesn't appeal to me... a relief to my few neopoints I guess)

    2) What would be the cheapest way to turn one of your neopets into a Lutari? I'm tired of zapping my fav in hopes of it becoming a Lutari for more than a yeat and I'm thinking of finally saving up for a morphing potion or maybe a magic plushie. I also thought of just waiting to create a new one in April 19th, but I've got a lot of good stats on the zap pet already and a lot of books read into it and I love it's name as well.
