I can't believe my luck! I just recently decided to get into avatar collecting, and got this one on my first spin since I was probably 12 years old.
Confession: I changed my pet from robot without knowing how rare it was :/

We sharing plush collections? Mine is nearing completion (maybe)
Started working on Woodland Uni Ornament. I’d be lying if I said this isn’t the hardest one so far. I decided to try Fimo Translucent polymer clay. It’s hard as rocks and hardly blends. I pre-baked the head and horn and left a wire out for a branch. Everything else is a shell to add more clay on.
What's the story with Skarl Collectable Charm?
Paint Brush on morphing potion?
These are all my pets that I lost in my dream. Given the fact that I still have them and they're all happy and healthy, I've made sure to give them all some extra love today. :)
I just have to get it off my chest -- most of the food drawings on Neopets looks fairly tasty, but something about this chicken breast drawing makes me so uncomfortable every time I see it.

Title says it all, I had a robot eyrie when I was looking into getting a lutari since they're my favorites. I wanted to leave my 5th pet slot open so I could zap other pets for peoples dreamies so I decided to use a mp on the eyrie to get my new lutari. It wasn't until about a week later that I found out how rare robot is and while I'm super happy with my lutari, I wish I hadn't changed my eyrie. I also wish I would've known we would be getting a 6th pet slot because I definitely would have just picked up a pound pet to morph instead. Oh well :(

To be fair there has been some stressful stuff going on in my life recently, but last night I had the most distressing nightmare I've had in quite a while, and it was centered entirely around Neopets. I dreamt that my account had gotten hacked and everything was either gone or replaced by something cheap. Every single one of my pets had gotten abandoned and then adopted out, including my lab-ray Custard Kyrii and the dreamie Darigan Kougra I had gotten after years of chasing that dream.

I'm probably going to hug my pets tighter today... •~•

My Massive Usul-themed Giveaway

It's coming up, the best day of the Neopian year: Usul day!

In honour of my most beloved squirrels' pet day, I have assembled this shiny new family photo (disclaimer: only my Usuls with permanent customs are pictured), and I am holding an Usul-themed giveaway!

It is my considered opinion that more Usuls in Neopia is better, so I am giving away one of each of the Usul Morphing Potions currently in existence. There are fifteen different ones, so there will be fifteen winners in total. And because we all know Usuls love to play dress-up, there is a wearable component to this giveaway as well. On top of winning an Usul Morphing Potion, I will gift all the winners one item from my squirrels' closet. Here is a list of the items available (listed as "Usul Day" - some are NP, some are NC):

The rules:

Entering is both simple and entirely egotistical (on my part): please comment and tell me which one of my Usuls is your favourite. That's all. If your UN is not in your flare, please also put that in your message so I can actually send you your gifts if you win.

This next part is optional. All Usuls are of course awesome, but you may list your top three preferred Usul Morphing Potions. You may also list your top three preferred wearables from the list. You may also choose to be surprised, or just list a top favourite, whatever you like.

What's the rarest/most expensive Neopets "thing" that you currently own onsite?

We all have the ones that got away/lost in accounts, but what about now? I think for me my rarest thing is my Darigan Redeemed avatar, which you could only get after fighting on his side in the Battle for Meridell site plot (BACK IN 2004!!!!!).

As far as tangible items go, I don't have much in the way of anything rare because I usually sell/trade it, but I do have a Superior Reflection Shield and 67 different paint brushes totaling around 6m NP.

These are the pets/colours you would be creating:

They each have permanent customizations, but I will save those for a thumbnail once I've acquired my client. Nothing too crazy detailed however. Thanks all!

Why are so many pound pets recently played at the Neolodge?

I've adopted several pets over the past couple days from the pound after getting into Neopets again, and I noticed that many of them - probably more than half - are at the Neolodge when I adopt them. Why is that? Does anyone happen to know? Or is it just that everyone just puts their pets at the Neolodge by default and I was unaware of this?

What's the story with Skarl Collectable Charm?

I'm working on filling my charms page but after researching the heavy hitters of the collection that charm has never been seen for sale anywhere though JN's item info shows nothing out of the ordinary with it, no alert or bug notification & says "Telling a funny joke to King Skarl could get you this prize." just another active, available charm for the page.

It's even listed on Skarls page as a possible prize but it came out in 2012 so it surely couldn't have been like this for almost 8 years...

Paint Brush on morphing potion?

I got a Pirate Krawk Morphing potion, and I'm wondering:

If I use the morphing potion on my Neopet, then go to a the paint brush (even just a basic one, red, blue, etc), will the neopet still be a krawk, but a colored Krawk instead of a Pirate?
